Part of Egypt’s burgeoning electronic music scene, Bosaina first came to our attention via her work with producers Ismail Hosny and Hussein Sherbini of the Wetrobots. Those three also form a bigger collective alongside other producers such as ZuLi and $$$TAG$$$ called Kairo Is Koming (KIK). Collaborations notwithstanding, Bosaina’s solo work ensured that she became the first Egyptian to be accepted to the Red Bull Music Academy, so she’ll be off to Tokyo in October. We wish her well.
